If you are already stressed out or having anxiety over politics, protests, or the upcoming election, here is something that might raise your pulse a little more. There is an asteroid on a trajectory to smash into Earth the day before the US presidential election!
Although this stellar rock object is cruising at us, accelerating at a speed of over 25,000 miles per hour, it is smaller than a car but of more mass than a washer or dryer. Space expert Neil deGrasse Tyson claims that it is actually about the size of a refrigerator, so there is no need to worry. No Hollywood blockbuster extinction-level armageddon style cataclysm will be happening this November.
Neil deGrasse Tyson recently posted a photo image from space of the asteroid, which is named Asteroid 2018VP1. Again, Tyson stated that the asteroid is not massive enough to cause any harm. So, if the world ends in 2020, it is no fault of the universe!
