The Jury Deliberates on The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

The Jury started deliberations at 9:15 AM CST today in the criminal case of Kyle Rittenhouse in the state of Wisconsin. Kyle is facing the verdict in intentional homicide and other crimes in the August 2020 Kenosha riots where BLM and Antifa activists descended upon the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, to loot, vandalize and commit arson.

With the use of persuasive speech, video, audio, and the review of the testimony of trial witnesses, prosecution and defense attorneys gave their closing statements for the Jury to determine the outcome of the trial that has continued for several days.

Kyle faces the Jury verdict in the following charges:

COUNT 1: FIRST-DEGREE RECKLESS HOMICIDE, USE OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON

COUNT 2: FIRST-DEGREE RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING SAFETY, USE OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON

COUNT 3: FIRST-DEGREE RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING SAFETY, USE OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON

COUNT 4: FIRST-DEGREE INTENTIONAL HOMICIDE, USE OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON

COUNT 5: ATTEMPTED FIRST-DEGREE INTENTIONAL HOMICIDE, USE OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON

COUNT 6: POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON BY A PERSON UNDER 18

The judge decided to dismiss Count 6 on Monday.

On Count 1, Kyle faces a maximum of 60 years in prison. The second and third counts are punishable by up to 12 and a half years in prison. Count 4 and Count 5 both also carry sentences of up to 60 years in prison each.
