Today in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial found him not guilty on all five charges. The verdict came after the jury held deliberations for almost four days. Kyle was overwhelmed with emotion as the jury read the verdict hugging his defense attorney in what one could only imagine was utter relief after this trial that took place over the last three weeks.
The five charges rose from the events of August 25th, 2020, in the Kenosha Riots. That evening Kyle Rittenhouse, only seventeen years old, shot three men, seriously injuring one while killing two others.
