Expressing claims that he is a victim of censorship, the former United States President Donald Trump has filed a class-action lawsuit against technology companies Facebook, Google and Twitter.
Social media suspended Trump’s accounts in January 2021. He states that the lawsuit he filed is a “development for our freedom of speech”. He is requesting a court order to end alleged censorship on social media platforms.
As of yet, none of the tech titans (Google, Twitter, Facebook) named in the lawsuit have responded or made any public statements.
