Playboi Carti has made a significant impact on the music charts with his latest single, “All Red,” which has debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart dated September 28. This marks his first entry into the top 10 as the sole lead artist, showcasing a robust streaming performance that continues his impressive streak of top-charting hits.

The track launched with an astounding 19.5 million official U.S. streams during the tracking week of September 13-19, according to Luminate. This streaming success not only propelled “All Red” to the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart but also secured a spot at No. 10 on the all-genre Streaming Songs ranking. While the single sold 500 digital downloads—insufficient to chart on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart—it did garner minimal radio airplay in its first week.

With “All Red,” Playboi Carti has now achieved seven top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. His previous collaborations and solo endeavors have further solidified his place in the industry:

“Pain 1993” (Drake featuring Playboi Carti) – No. 6, May 16, 2020
“Miss the Rage” (with Trippie Redd) – No. 6, May 22, 2021
“FE!N” (Travis Scott featuring Playboi Carti) – No. 2, August 12, 2023
“Carnival” (Ye & Ty Dolla $ign featuring Rich the Kid & Playboi Carti) – No. 1 for three weeks, March 9, 2024
“Type Shit” (with Future, Metro Boomin & Travis Scott) – No. 2, April 6, 2024
“Field Trip” (Ye & Ty Dolla Sign featuring Playboi Carti, Kodak Black & Don Toliver) – No. 10, August 17, 2024
“All Red” – No. 3 (to date), September 28, 2024
Carti’s consecutive top 10 entries highlight his ongoing relevance in the genre, with each of his five chart appearances since “FE!N” landing in the top tier. Additionally, “All Red” has made a strong entrance at No. 2 on the Hot Rap Songs chart and No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

This single also serves as a teaser for Carti’s upcoming album, marking his first release since the 2020 project, Whole Lotta Red, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and the all-genre Billboard 200. As anticipation builds for his new music, Playboi Carti continues to solidify his status as a key player in today’s hip-hop landscape.
