Newly arrived in Florida, I discovered the brown anole today. They are everywhere outside. Apparently, by sheer observation of their numbers, this species is highly invasive. The brown anole is native to Cuba and the Bahamas but now has an alarmingly abundant presence as far north as Georgia in the United States.
